Tan Liping, a native of Liling, Hunan province and a member of the Communist Party of China, received her Ph.D. from Wuhan University of Science and Technology in July 2026. Her research focuses on the efficient extraction of strategic metals, the preparation of functional adsorption materials, and the purification and enrichment of complex solutions.
