左小超，博士，助理研究员，硕士生导师。主要从事黏土矿物纳米化、矿物基储热材料、有机无机复合材料、固废资源高质化利用等研究工作。先后主持和参加国家重点研发计划专项子课题、国家自然科学基金项目、湖北省自然科学基金项目等12项，在Advanced Functional Materials、ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces、Carbon、Renewable Energy、Journal of Colloid And Interface Science、Applied Clay Science等国内外期刊发表论文50篇，其中第一作者/通讯作者30篇，申请发明专利24项，已授权专利13项。担任《绿色与智能矿业工程（英文）》（英文名：Green and Smart Mining Engineering，缩写GSME）) 青年编委，中国非金属矿工业协会行业团体标准技术委员会委员，全国非金属矿产品及制品标准化技术委员会黏土与黏土矿物分技术委员会(SAC/TC406/SC5)委员。
