面向国家能源重大需求,致力于解决清洁能源、碳减排及碳中和的新能源材料设计与应用,聚焦新能源、太阳能储热、工业催化、光电催化、电化学储能等新兴领域,开展太阳能储热材料、能源催化、高性能电池的前沿研究,从原子分子层次探寻新材料设计与实验制备的新策略,研发石墨结构形貌调控及石墨基能源材料的关键技术,以期为能源领域的“卡脖子”技术难题、以及“碳达峰、碳中和”目标实现提供全新思路。
1. 太阳能储热材料
针对太阳能利用存在时间、空间和强度不匹配以及间歇性的复杂难题,充分挖掘天然矿物材料独特的结构优势及储热潜质,研发矿物微结构调控制备高性能太阳能储热材料的新技术,为绿色建筑领域的规模化应用提供技术保障。
2. 能源催化材料
瞄准能源高效清洁、多元化利用及转化的重大科学问题,聚焦高性能催化剂的设计开发及工程化,建立催化剂轨道能级的定向调控方法,提出活性中间体活化调控的新思路,从反应机理、催化剂设计、工程化应用开展研究工作。
3. 高性能电池材料
针对电池能量密度低等问题,提出黏土矿物表界面改性提升材料电子导电性的新思路,揭示黏土矿物表界面特征与电化学性能的相互关系,构建黏土矿物结构与电池材料的电化学反应模型,研制面向高端应用的低成本高性能电池材料。
