面向国内外高新技术领域及国家战略性新兴产业发展的重大需求,瞄准世界科技前沿,引领高性能矿物功能材料的发展。重点致力于新型环保型摩擦材料、矿物功能化加工及高性能陶瓷材料等研究,旨在揭示矿物功能化过程中微结构与能量对其应用性能的调控机制,突破矿物高值化、功能化关键技术及工程示范中的瓶颈,实现矿物功能材料的可控设计及其工程化,开拓新的应用市场。
1. 新型环保型摩擦材料
针对高性能、环境友好、不含有害重金属机动车制动摩擦材料的需求,利用矿物自然属性,以满足社会发展对环境保护和节约资源和能源的更高要求,研发环保型、高性能机动车制动用摩擦材料,建立摩擦材料用矿物原料评价体系、标准化体系。
2. 矿物功能化加工
瞄准国内外高新技术产业市场需求,通过提纯、超细粉碎、剥片、表面改性等工艺手段对非金属矿物进行功能化加工,揭示各工艺过程对矿物微观结构及性能的调控机制,研制适合新能源、航空航天、节能环保、生物医药、高分子复合材料、新型陶瓷等应用要求的高性能矿物功能材料,提升矿物资源的应用价值。
3. 高性能陶瓷材料
着眼高频通讯产业对介质陶瓷材料的应用需求,通过调控黏土矿物结构,提升介电性能,制备高性能介质陶瓷材料。瞄准高效阻燃领域迫切需求,基于纳米黏土的热稳定性,开发兼具优异阻燃性能和高机械性能的黏土基复合材料,拟为高性能复合材料体系的开发拓宽思路。
